Finally Get Answers About Your ADHD

Dr. Clint Nacar, DNP, PMHNP-BC offers comprehensive ADHD evaluations — including objective computerized testing — for children, adolescents, and adults across California. All via secure telehealth, no waitlist.

ADHD Looks Different Than You Might Expect

Most people picture ADHD as a hyperactive child who can't sit still. But for many adults — and a significant number of children — ADHD shows up quietly: as chronic disorganization, emotional overwhelm, or a persistent sense of not living up to your potential.

If you've struggled your whole life to focus, stay organized, or follow through — and wondered why it feels so much harder for you than for everyone else — a formal evaluation can finally provide the clarity you deserve.

Common signs that it may be time for an evaluation:

  • Difficulty staying focused or finishing tasks
  • Frequently losing things or forgetting appointments
  • Impulsive decisions that you later regret
  • Restlessness or an inability to sit still
  • Struggles with time management or chronic lateness
  • Feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities
  • Underperforming at work or school despite your best effort

Objective Testing — Not Just a Questionnaire

Many ADHD evaluations rely solely on rating scales and self-report forms. At MindCare Innovations, we go further. Our computerized ADHD test objectively measures your attention, impulse control, and reaction time in real time — giving both you and Dr. Nacar a data-backed picture of how your brain actually performs.

Common Questions About ADHD Evaluations

Can ADHD really be diagnosed via telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth ADHD evaluations are clinically valid and widely used. Our computerized testing is administered remotely and meets the same diagnostic standards as in-person assessments. California telehealth law allows full psychiatric evaluation and treatment — including prescriptions — without an in-person visit.

How long does an ADHD evaluation take?

The initial psychiatric evaluation is approximately 60 minutes. The computerized ADHD test adds additional time and can be scheduled as part of the same visit or as a follow-up appointment.

What happens after my diagnosis?

You'll leave with a clear diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan, and — if appropriate — a medication prescription. Follow-up appointments are scheduled every 4–8 weeks to monitor your progress and adjust your plan.

Do you treat ADHD in children?

Yes. Dr. Nacar provides ADHD evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. ADHD makes up 25% of our patient caseload across all age groups.
